While this gem is operated by a delightful elderly couple who speak Japanese, they've thoughtfully provided an English menu, making the ordering process seamless for non Japanese speakers. Whether you're in the mood for Udon or Soba, you're in for a treat. The curry beef soba bursts with rich flavour and the tempura prawn udon with its large prawn is a testament to their culinary expertise. A heartwarming experience of authentic Japanese hospitality and delectable dining. Highly recommended!

This was really near Kiyomizudera. A really lovely eatery run by an elderly couple (?) Looks unassuming but they had an extensive menu of udon and don with an English menu! The oyako don (chicken with egg) and tanin don (beef with egg) was really hearty. Super recommend!

Nice small restaurant that is operated by an elderly server. The food was quite good and she was very friendly when helping us with the menu. There weren't too many people dining in here at the time so it was a nice, quiet experience for us while eating.
