Kyoto, Japan｜Nishinotōin Shokudō (Maido Ōkini Shokudō)

Loved the cafeteria style service, just grab what looks good. Food was phenomenal. Salmon was fantastic, also recommend spinach with bonito flakes, beef with fried tofu, corn croquettes, and pork cutlet.

This is a super fun and delicious cafeteria style place. Breakfast was great. You pick what you want and pay for each dish. They’ll make you an omelet to order. I got a lot of things and it was 1200 yen. Tea is free.

Clean and open from morning to 10 pm, a very cozy place to have meals whenever you want. Also has a bus stop at front, makes it very accessible! They have microwave for you to heat up dishes!
