This place 100% lives up to hype. The udon noodles were so smooth and chewy. Both the cold and hot udon were light. Come before opening hours because there was already a long line when it opened. The place is small so it can only accommodate so many people plus they close after a couple of hours. Noodles and service was stellar, definitely the best udon I’ve ever tried. Fyi there is no English menu but Google translate will be your best frendu

Visited on a weekday for lunch at around 1:00. Got lucky and did not have to wait because it was a rainy day. No English menu, so try to know what your favorite udon is called before you go. If you don’t know what to get, we had “kake udon” and got three extra shrimps to put in (we could have just ordered “tempura udon”) and “kashiwa udon” which is udon with chicken. Both were excellent. We got them both hot, but they serve a wide variety of hot and cold. Restrooms are nice, staff is extremely polite, vibe is very quiet — people really just focus on the udon. Noodles were AMAZING, really high quality and chewy in a good way. Broth is excellent, served very hot, tempura is very good. Recommend if you love udon.

Visited on a weekday late Nov. Waited 40min for lunch, not too bad. Tried their Autumn special 鱧天udon, really enjoyed it! The udon had great texture and chewy! Would recommend if you're in the area!
