One of the best noodles I ever came across + 90’s JPop + friendly staff = must visit in Kyoto if you are a fan of Udon. Visited twice since I couldn’t get a seat the first time. Do try to eat in the main store rather than the take-out place if you can. Menu and the experience is different.

Udon and Tempura were incredible. The experience was topped off with the most incredibly understated dairy dessert. Udon - broth tasted great and the noodles had fantastic texture and taste. Tempura - crispy and light with fantastic seasoning options Tea - provided with meal and some of the best cold tea you will find Dessert - Light and not too sweet. This part of the meal pushed this restaurant over the top as probably my favorite dining experience of my trip. Interior - great seating and decor
