Sophisticated yet affordable udon dishes, served both hot or cold. The come in well-arranged japanese sets with a small bowl of rice to fully enjoy the delicious sauce. Very nice ambience at a renovated machiya, accompanying the aesthetic of the dishes. Menu is not foreigner friendly, despite the popularity of the restaurant. In any case, well worth it if you are looking for an udon-based meal.

It's a non-spicy curry. If you order the lunch set, you can order a half-size apricot kernel tofu separately, but it has a very gentle taste and is very delicious. Udon, curry and skewers were all delicious. Next time I would like to try tsukemen. This time it was about 2,000 yen.
