This cafe-style set meal restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Kitaoji Station and is filled with the scent of the Showa era. The store's appearance, the aquarium at the entrance (containing Kyoto's river creatures), and the face-to-face seating give off the aroma of a pure cafe, but the menu consists of only set meals. I ordered the croquette set meal for 550 yen because it changes daily and is cheaper than the regular menu. In this day and age, there are very few non-chain restaurants in Kyoto City where you can eat at this price. The sweet croquette is topped with a ketchup-based sauce, and goes with a generous amount of rice. I'm also happy that the miso soup is made with red soup stock. It's probably a purveyor to nearby university students, but I think it's a good restaurant in Kyoto that should be proud of, both in terms of price and taste.

Every single side dish is delicious And this price! I wonder why there is no line up at lunch time.
