Fantastic hot pot restaurant which only opens from Oct --> April each year due to best time for certain vegetables freshness and taste. Locals favourite. Very authentic with equally good service.

I only do it in winter. Open during the best season for Kyoto vegetables. You can choose between sukiyaki or chanko. There is a tatami room and it is relaxing. Celebrities such as Kimutaku are also expected to come.

Chanko nabe is 3 servings. Vegetables are also fresh and delicious. The meat is also Omi beef. Surprisingly reasonable! Although it is a famous shop, the proprietress and waitress are friendly and easy to enter, and it is a shop that you will want to visit again and again with a homely atmosphere.
