Kyoto, Japan｜Sushiiwa

By far the best restaurant in Kyoto! Toshiya is so friendly and is most definitely a reincarnation of a God of Food. Try one of the set menus and you will not be disappointed!

We stayed in Japan for 10 days and ate across Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. This was the best best dining experience we had in all our travels. Chef Toshiya Ohnishi is not only an excellent and creative chef, it he’s also an incredible story teller and conversationalist as he speaks perfect English and I would recommend sitting at the bar to get a first hand view of their work. Bravo to you and your team, we had the most excellent experience and are so grateful you hosted is.

Went to a lot of sushi restaurants while in Tokyo and Kyoto and this one was the best by far , nothing even comes close.
