Nara, Japan｜La Terrasse

Just ate here today to celebrate my Wife’s birthday, and all I can say that it was worth every Yen we spent, it was actually more than worth it. We took a bus and had to walk 6 mins to the resto, and they were waiting for us with umbrellas since it was raining. The restaurant itself, and the view were so amazing (might plan to go back when the Cherry Blossoms come out) The service and food were great, our favorite was the Soup. We would like to commend especially Isobe san for making our stay excellent. He is one of the reasons we would go back. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISOBE SAN) same as my wife’s bday haha. They even personalized the course menu for us (made to English), and also had a special gift and flower for my wife’s birthday.

Simply Outstanding. I've had the joy of eating in many Michelin star restaurants and La Terrasse is one of the finest. I can honestly say it's the finest meal I can remember in a very long time. We went for lunch and enjoyed their multi-course meal. The price was reasonable and the quality of ingredients and staff service was simply fantastic. I look forward to going back again. This is a place that likely requires a reservation, if you are not local to the area might be good to have the hotel concierge call for availability. The website also offers reservation booking. Japan has wonderful food options and La Terrasse is the perfect combination of fresh ingredients, a brilliant chef and a picturesque background of Nara Park.

Outstanding, and deserving of its high-rating and status as one of the best fine dining establishments in Nara. We had a very fine lunch experience during the peak leaf viewing time, and the service, the food, and overall decor is at a very top level. Additionally, the seasonal lunch course set menu is such a fantastic value, you should not hesitate to book here for a wonderful meal! Enjoy!
