We had the best steak ever here. We went for the set menu with rump and tenderloin from Nara’s wagyu beef, with soup, salad and rice and some sake recommended by the chef. We arrived quite late (21:30) but were greeted with a smile and invited in. Highly recommended if you’re in Nara! No wonder they’ve been going for over 40 years 😋🤤

Lovely owners with great food. I needed to eat dinner a little late, and they were still open, so I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. If I am back in Nara I will look forward to coming by again! I really liked the tofu steak!

Stumbled upon this out of the way establishment while looking for a late night dinner in Nara. Pepita offers friendly service and some of the most amazing food. The Wagyu steak was one of the best meals I've ever had and my girlfriend and I also discovered a moat delicious plum brandy. Highly recommend Kitchen Pepita if you're after something different to the usual Japanese fare. Oishiiiiiii!
