Tenkawa, Nara, Japan｜中華料理彰武

Actually could not try this restaurant yet, but happened to get a ride by the owner couple from Mitarai to Dorogawa. They were such nice and pleasant people. Will definitely visit next time.

I arrived in Dorogawa after six days hiking in the mountains. I hadn't booked accommodation in advance, but a village lady directed me here. I was pleasantly surprised. The host was kind and generous. While he spoke only a little bit of English, he was happy translating with his phone. I stayed for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable. The host also runs the restaurant downstairs, and kindly made me a vegetarian meal, along with a complimentary breakfast bento! I couldn't have asked for more. This is a beautiful part of Japan, and I highly recommend staying at Shobu if you're in the area.

I used it for climbing Mt. Omine. The accommodation on the second floor costs about 6,000 yen per night, but the rooms are okay. Service includes breakfast and bento boxes ^ ^ I had Chinese food on the first floor for dinner, and the salt mapo was excellent! ! It was a restaurant that I would definitely come back to again.
