4.5/5 Charming Unagi place. Obviously pricey but that's what you get for a good bowl of Unagi. I'm no expert but that was certainly good and a nice stamina booster for the hike up the mountain. Staff were friendly as well.

Fantastic Unagi restaurant. Flavours were really good and the Unagi was perfectly cooked (and roasted where applicable). The serving size is quite generous and the rice is perfectly cooked. Sides such as the Unagi Tamagoyaki were great too. We got a nice window seat with a good view. The service was excellent and it doesn't really matter that they don't speak English as the menu is simple enough. For those inexperienced with Unagi I would recommend the full Unajyu Set or the Donburi Set. In this case we got a Unajyu Set and a Hitsumabon set. Would highly recommend both, though for the latter you should know how to eat it as they won't be able to explain it to you (though they'll try their best 😊). It's a great meal after a tiring hike up the mountain, though the food does take some time to serve (as expected of freshly made Unagi). Just good to keep that in mind.

stopped by for unagyu on 31.3.2023 this Singapore uya standard freshly bbq crisp & sweet tender bouncy inside..quite superb we took the large (one eel) & extra large (1.5eel) …very shiok!
