This is the strongest store in Kansai. I love eel and used to go to Nagoya every time to eat it, but at this restaurant you can eat the most delicious eel in Kansai without having to go to Nagoya. Good service, good taste, good grilling, and reasonable price. It's been open for about 4 months, so it's a great restaurant where you can eat without lining up. I've already been here twice this month. If you put the hitsumamushi on top, the eel will be spread tightly between the rice. For lunch, the manpuku set as shown in the photo has more than enough eel 😊 They purchase raw eel, prepare it and grill it on the spot, and the rice is also made in-house and is cooked in clay pots. I don't think you can find anything else like this at this price with this volume. They also say that invoices are not supported, and consumption tax is not collected. Honestly, I love management. By the way, takeout is also possible.

We are three sisters who love eel ❤️ I happened to find it after visiting Omiwa Shrine. I ordered the hitsumamushi and eel rolls. I love rice so I had a big serving! and ordered. The owner and the staff are all smiling, without a single unpleasant look on their faces. I'm feeling good, but the grilled eel is the best! Palitoro. They poured plenty of sauce on me without being skimpy, the dashi soup for the dashi chazuke was delicious, and the liver for the liver soup was pudding and big. Ah, it was delicious no matter which one I took. I can't tell you how many times I said how delicious it was on the way home. I can only recommend it.

Recommended by acquaintances! ! So I went with my brother who is picky about eel! As soon as you enter, you can feel the cleanliness of the store with its beautiful white interior. The menu is easy to understand, and my brother had the lunch-only Manpuku Don! I made it the same as Hitsumabushi. The staff will clearly inform you that it will take some time to bake everything from scratch. A friend of mine enthusiastically told me that the time it takes to grill eel doubles its deliciousness (lol) [Manpuku bowl] Only 10 meals per day! First come, first served. First of all, I was surprised at the size of the eel that came out, probably because it was on top. This is an eel that has just come out of the bowl. Because the eel was so large, we ended up running out of rice. Up until now, I've had leftover rice but never leftover eel, so I have to calculate what I eat (lol). Eel roll eggs are seasoned to enjoy the taste of eel. The seasoning of the soup is also adjusted so that it doesn't get washed out by the eel sauce. [Hitsumabushi] The fillet is bigger than the other eel restaurants I've eaten at. My image of hitsumabushi was that it was the end of an eel, but that was not the case. Also, the amount of eel was average, but it felt like it was a lot. The soup stock is light. This is done so as not to destroy the flavor of the eel. It was liver soup, but what kind of liver soup have you ever eaten? That's about it. The liver in the liver soup was small and I didn't know what it was, but it was quite a size, but it didn't smell bad, so I felt that it had been properly prepared. [Earthen pot rice set] This is a set of one eel, umaki, small side dish, pickles, salad, and soup. [Impressions of eel] Ever since I was little, I've hated eel bones, and there are some restaurants where I can eat them and others where I can't, but this restaurant was good at cutting the bones, and I could (and wanted to) eat them. The one I ate was Hitsumabushi, so although the bones were visible in some parts, they didn't touch my mouth, so it was very easy to eat. Also, the thickness is amazing. Eel is so fluffy, and it overturns all the common sense I had about eel. The skin was grilled perfectly, not too crunchy, but not too slimy either. I heard that they also do take-out, so if you eat it and think it's delicious, you might as well buy it as a souvenir for your family. (I gave up this time because it took a long time to make it again) The portions were huge, and my older brother, who eats a lot, would say, ``I'm full,'' and every time after eating, he would say, ``It was delicious,'' so it was so noisy in the car (lol) However, I didn't feel like I could finish eating even average, so it would be best if there was something like a ladies' platter (half) or a clay pot rice set with a little bit of eel. I will go again!
