Kashihara, Nara, Japan｜Furui

Their kakinohazushi (柿葉寿司 )and soba set is amazing. Super affordable and absolutely delicious. Furui also has a sansai rice (山菜) which is my personal favourite. It has a slightly charred and deep woody flavour that I cannot get enough of. This place is a 5 out of 5 for me.

In mid-October, on my way back from seeing cosmos at the Fujiwara Palace ruins, I looked for a place where my family of three and a golden could eat, and found this restaurant, which was my first time going there. I called in advance to confirm that dogs were allowed, but at that time I was told that the roads surrounding the store were narrow and difficult to navigate, so I would be asked to contact them when I was near the store. When I called from nearby, he came out of his way to guide me and arrived safely. There are two entrances to the store, one for eating inside and the other for people entering with their dogs. There were terrace seats in the beautiful courtyard, but we were guided to a private room facing the courtyard. Reserved seat tag on the table. First of all, I was impressed by this. I ordered a meal and was even more impressed by how delicious it was. Finally dessert. It has a Japanese taste, but it's exquisite. The staff was very attentive and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. The townscape surrounding the store is also quaint, and I would definitely like to stop by again if I'm in the area.

After walking around Imai-cho, it was lunch time at Machiya Chaya Koi. . There is a mist shower here, so you can spend comfortably even on hot days ♪ Dogs can enter the terrace seats 👾 . Choose a menu that you can eat smoothly even on a hot day with soba noodles and persimmon leaf sushi ♪ The atmosphere of the shop is also good, so you can't help but stay longer 👾
