Yoshino, Nara, Japan｜Yamatoan

We stumbled upon this lovely traditional restaurant when we visited mount yoshino during the cherry blossoms season. While we queued for close to an hour for lunch, the freshness of the soba blew us away. We also loved the interior design of the restaurant. Definitely one of our highlights during this trip to Japan!

Delicious handmade cold soba in a beautiful traditional house by a very friendly couple. Must stop in Yoshino.

probably the best soba I’ve ever had - the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was 😮‍💨 I waited about an hour at 1 pm on a Sunday
