The rice cake and red bean soup is very sweet (really sweet) ~ It has a bit of caramel aroma ~ Matcha ice is also very sweet ~ tastes good ~

Take this place for what it is, it’s a random restaurant in the middle of Nara by Todaji temple. Expect no frills but the price is decent and the food is decent. Service is reasonably fast. It’s basically everything I would want in the middle of my Nara day trip. I would not recommend the deer curry. I think it’s labeled as beef curry but there’s basically no beef in it. It makes for nice pictures though. Dessert was very nice and refreshing. We got the combo set with 3 desserts and matcha tea. Again nothing fancy but it was simple and clean. I would go again!

Really great Japanese curry! Also rice and teriyaki chicken was really good! They are also really kind!
