The dining room of a former ryokan in front of Murouji Temple. The menu is only a set meal of wild vegetables and nyumen. The mountain vegetable set meal is 1,600 yen, and the amago candied simmered meal is 2,100 yen. You can eat a variety of small bowls with gentle seasonings such as grated yam, simmered vegetables, vinegared dishes, wild vegetables, and more. All the dishes were well seasoned, but especially the wild vegetables tasted like tsukudani with a little wasabi, which was perfect for rice. I was able to refill the rice.

This is a restaurant where you can eat and stay near Muroji Temple. As someone who grew up in a hot spring area in the countryside, this building makes me feel very nostalgic. There are many shops around here that are built like this one, and you can enjoy the feeling of traveling back in time. We were going to climb Muroji Temple, so we had somen noodles on the advice of a friend, who said, ``If you don't eat light, it's going to be tough after this.'' Later...I realized that somen noodles were the right choice.It was the stairs of Muroji Temple. And I'm glad I didn't drink alcohol (-_-;). Next time I go, I would like to try the wild vegetable set meal. Also, I would like to stay and see this place at least once. I'm sure the stars in the night sky are beautiful... On this day, the weather was nice and the blue sky was clear and beautiful, and since it was almost the season for autumn leaves, I'm sure it would be even more beautiful.

An inn and restaurant in Murouji Monzencho. The inside of the store is spacious, and the 1600 yen wild vegetable set meal is elegant and I think it is more than the price that makes the best use of the taste of the ingredients. We had a meal that was a little different in a good way from the usual "ordinary Japanese set meal" in town.
