Nara, Japan｜Yotsuba Cafe

In my 3 weeks traveling around Japan, the hour or so I spent in Yotsuba Cafe was one of the quieter, most magical moments. I was the only customer on a very rainy morning when I could find nothing else open. The lady that served me was incredibly courteous and welcoming, and despite sharing few words in common we were able to talk about some of the lovely trinkets she had decorating the house. I also bought this precious cat she was selling, I think from a local artist. Thank you for a strange, blissful morning :)

Googled and found this little nook snuggled amongst the community. Doesn't have an english menu, perhaps try your google translate app. Only stopped for coffee but it's nice homey experience.

The staff was kind and gentle, and I went to the second floor, which was comfortable with a gentle breeze flowing in. It was a very cute space where children could play at any time. The pizza is cute too.
