Reviews
More Comments at Google MapA very unusual Kissaten with an upstairs dining area where you can look out the window and watch the world go by. Very friendly lady manager and other reviews have praised the cuisine. No need for me to add to that as I agree with those positive reviews. A wonderful little place.
The owner's favorite coffee and chiffon cake are delicious, but the gratin and sandwiches are also delicious. On the second floor, the glass windows that give you a sense of the Showa period are painted in a Western style, which is a nice touch.
I was able to come to the last day of the Shosoin exhibition that I dreamed about for the first time. Before that, I entered with a late lunch to recharge my energy. The lovely owner kindly explained the menu, and the mackerel sandwich (the croquettes had a great flavor!) + sweets chiffon cake was fluffy! I was very satisfied with my stomach, and after following the process carefully taught by the owner, I visited Kofuku-ji Temple's East Golden Hall, the first Shosoin exhibition, and a wonderful planned exhibition, and then went home after worshiping the over 5-meter statue of Kongo Rikishi. Thanks to you, I was able to spend a rich Nara time from lunch. Thank you!! ️
