More Comments at Google MapI thought it was an ordinary roadside restaurant, but I was able to enjoy some very authentic Japanese food. The photo is of Kasuga Hakutaku Udon Gozen. Both the stews and tempura taste like you're eating at a Japanese restaurant. The meat udon that my family used to eat has plenty of thick meat and just the right amount of vegetables. Mizuna was on board. The cutlets in the cutlet curry are crispy and the meat is juicy. I was surprised by how much attention was paid to everything from the vegetable dressing to the pickles. Later, when I looked at the website, I learned that the chef was a former head chef at a famous hotel. I agree. You can even go out to eat without sightseeing. When you sit on the terrace, you can enjoy your meal while listening to the murmuring of the Uda River and being bathed in negative ions. The terrace seats are in the shade, so I was able to enjoy a really comfortable meal this time of year.
The souvenir shop wasn't very big, but the food was very delicious. Brown rice tea porridge set meal 1100 yen Warm things stay warm and cold things stay cold. Enjoy carefully prepared fresh local vegetables.
I ate the nabeyaki udon gozen. I was very satisfied with both the seasoning and the quantity. Is there dressing on the cabbage under the small bowl of fried chicken? You can feel the chef's commitment to the dish.
