Ikoma, Nara, Japan｜Sawaya

Mr Hibiki was well spoken, his recommendation for the food was outstanding. The food arrived swiftly and the taste went well beyond expectation. Although the space was small, it was cosy and what was needed was there. Price of the menu was affordable despite the attention to the preparation. An absolute gem in the haystack!

I got off the wrong subway and ended up in Ikoma by chance. I entered this restaurant with a cold body and came across the restaurant of my life. The taste of the skewers and side dishes was fantastic. The Rich Chuhai was especially excellent. I was impressed by the friendly staff who treated me even when I made a mistake with my order. The atmosphere was nice and the prices were reasonable, so it was an even happier memory. I would definitely visit again before moving to another area!

It's delicious, cheap, and there's enough rice. Pork chops, chicken chops, and Tangyang chicken are all delicious, and they also have lettuce.
