Oji, Nara, Japan｜Awaisatei

Very friendly staff. The dishes tasted so good as well. I'm glad we decided to stop at this little restaurant on our bike ride from Osaka to Nara.

I ate the katsudon set. This katsudon is both nostalgic and very delicious. This katsudon is exactly like a set meal restaurant. The katsudon was a bit disappointing in the taste and quantity of the soup stock, as well as the quality of the eggs, but it was served with a very good seasoning. If this is the case, egg bowls and oyakodon would probably be delicious as well. The customer service is like a kind local lady, and I really like it. When I visited, there was some variation in the delivery time because it was a one-off operation by an older woman, but it wasn't a big deal. I was so impressed that there was something like a famous quote on the wall, and it seems like this is the origin of the store's name. The price is not cheap, but I don't feel it is expensive. It can be said to be a famous store.

At first glance, it looked like a restaurant that wasn't very popular, but when I went in and tried it, it was completely different. Deep-fried chikuwa and seaweed tempura. It was the best B set meal with delicious udon soup. Ohagi is also apparently a specialty, but it's also delicious! It was 100 times more delicious than the Chaya Chaya I ate in Yahata.
