Nara, Japan｜Fuji

I lack words to express the evening that we had here. We came and there were only two seat lefts. There is a total of 7. 2 Americans couples and a Chinese lady were already there. The owner, cooker server and hostesses, all in one, was the most amazing japanese lady that you can imagine. She knows enough English to make your visit comfortable. The food was prepared right in front of us, she explained the ingredients and what she was cooking. It tasted amazing! The best part of all, was that everyone left and we, plus the lady and a Japanese gentleman stayed. We talked for at least an hour using Google translator. We laugh a lot, they were super nice. They invited us to a bottle of sake because we were on our honeymoon, they ask us million questions and we asked them too. It was an unforgettable evening. Thank you so much for you time and your kindness. Your friendliness and hospitality is out of this world. Arigato!

Both the service and the food was great, could have stayed there all night. The food made you want to keep eating and the atmosphere made it fun. It is a great little local place and I highly recommend it. The owner was lovely and really friendly ❤️

It was a one “man” show, but well worth the wait. Fantastic food, authentic experience, amazing value.
