Nara, Japan｜お好み焼 団

What an amazing experience. My girlfriend and I went here for dinner after walking through Nara park and had a great time. The food was amazing and it was prepared right in front of us. The owner is very nice and it was a pleasure to be able to watch her do her craft. We lucked out and arrived right as the previous patrons were leaving so we got a table right away. If you're in the area this is a must eat location. I only know English and that wasn't an issue at all as the owner also speaks English. Thank you for the great meal.

This was the most insightful food experience in our whole trip through Japan. Super sweet old lady is preparing okonomiyaki and yaki soba in front of you. You sit in the table with grill in the middle and you eat straight from it. She speaks relatively good English, it was super helpful. You can order vegetarian versions of both dishes. We can highly recommend this place! The price is very cheap. Super sweet place with real Japanese food ❤️ you have to go and support this local small business of that cute lady. The restaurant is hidden in a super small street between houses, what makes it even more special :)
