The grilled squid, mix soba and onomiyaki are really delicious and on point. Highly recommend!

Nice okonomiyaki at good prices! This restaurant is small and cozy, a TV is playing on one of the walls. It's on a busy street in central Nara. There's an English menu available, staff were helpful though they had limited English. We paid 2,800 yen for two okonomiyaki with drinks.

Walking up the road to Nara Park, we saw the restaurant appearing to open and idled over to the door, where we were advised it was indeed open. After an incredible meal, service and surprise accompanying gift, we realised that they were only reaching their scheduled open time. We attempted to apologise profusely to which, in true disarmingly polite fashion, our concerns were waved away and we were again thanked for our visit. 100% will visit again and can thoroughly recommend this family-run restaurant!
