Nice and cosy restaurant run by a kind couple. Despite me not speaking Japanese and them speaking only a bit of English they helped me pick a great dish (with the help of a kind local customer). Very nice food and atmosphere.

Tourist free ramen shop. There is only a counter in that very small restaurant, but the food is really good. If you wanna avoid the other tourists and have a real Japanese experience, that is the place to go.

Great Chinese food in Nara. The couple owning the place is lovely and even if they do not speak English we manage to communicate through technology and had a great night.
