Kyoto, Japan｜Restaurant Yuge

I dropped by this amazing restaurant on the 3rd of October in 2023. I biked around there so I was so hungry and really craving for a voluminous meal even though I was on a diet. I parked my buddy in front of the restaurant, and saw a sign board. It displayed “In Preparation” even though it was at eleven thirty am, but google map said it opens at eleven. I thought they temporarily couldn’t deal with customers for some reason, and about to give up having Sauce-Katsu-Don, the rice bowl topped with deep fried pork seasoned with savory vegetable sauce. Although the music was being played in front of the entrance, so I decided to try entering and opened the door. Then, a waiter came up to me, and asked how he could help me. They just forgot to turn over the sigh board after all. They served super tasty Katsu-don to me! The pork was so crispy, and the sauce was amazingly flavorful. I made it sure that I’d drop by this restaurant again when I come around here.

We went to Miyama and on our way back to our Goma guest house we were looking for a place to eat, this was one of the few that opens for dinner. The deep fried pork chop rice was delicious, we were grateful for the cozy dinner.

Stopped by today while touring. I ordered a mega serving of sauce cutlet bowl. The batter is crispy and the amount is perfect It was delicious! I would like to stop by again.
