Kyoto, Japan｜Hanasaki manjiro

Never had i thought i would love a Japanese Degustation as i am not capable of eating raw food. After placing a reservation a day ahead we were so surprised of how great the food turned out to be (all cooked) and the chef even came to meet us after the meal. A must go to Place for a quiet and sumptuous meal.

An amazing dining experience! We got ourselves a 12 course meal, and each and every one of the dishes we were served were beautiful, intricate, and of course very tasty. On top of that, the staff members were all extremely polite, attentive, and friendly. Our main waitress even made conversation with us about the significance of the food and the city of Kyoto itself, and allowed us to practice our japanese. I cannot stress enough how much the quality of the service really completed the whole experience! I would highly recommend this establishment to any foreigners wishing to experience Kaiseki for the first time!

All the previous reviews are true. Some very delicious food and outstanding service. Our waitress/hostess was Mami (sorry if we got your name wrong) and she was so wonderful. What’s more, the price was very good for what you get for a kaiseki 9 course meal and a private room. We especially loved the soup, the grilled fish and the beef. It was absolutely a highlight of our trip and we will certainly be back!
