I had to wait for almost 2 hours until I could sit and ordered but it’s definitely worth waiting. Their gyoza is really really good. And the service is excellent. The staffs are friendly and enthusiastic. They worked crazily hard but still smiling and really nice to their customers. I could see that they didn’t have any minutes to rest during their serving hours. What we ordered ( for 2 people ): 1. Chao chao gyoza 2. Chicken & cheese gyoza 3. Grilled chicken skin gyoza 4. Chicken wing gyoza 5. Chicken wings 6. Ginger and pork gyoza 7. Pork gyoza in spicy Mala soup 8. Shrimp Gyoza 9. Chocolate gyoza and vanilla ice cream I love all dishes that I ordered 👌🏻

We went to this place on a Friday evening in April 2023 and we had a great time! It was recommended to us by our guides and, together with them (we were about 15 people, divided in two groups) we decided to give it a try. An important thing is to mark your name on the list at the entrance, in order to book your turn. It cannot be done in any other way: not online, no phone calls. You must write it there and wait for your time, the place is very popular! The gyoza are very good, the grilled Japanese ones in my opinion are much tastier than the steamed Chinese ones. Furthermore, here they are seasoned inside and out with various flavors including meat, fish and vegetarian, so it is a place suitable for everyone and you spend the right amount! I recommend.

Discover this gyoza shop by accident as it is very close to the hotel that I stayed in. It always has a long queue even until 10pm. End up came here for two consecutive days as the gyoza is so good and I really want to try more flavours. The skin is so thin and crispy. The staff are also very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely come back again when we visit Kyoto again next time.
