Kyoto, Japan｜Kikyo Sushi

Really enjoyed the experience. We got to sit in the bar and see how they made the sushi, which was directly served into leafs in front of us. Fish was fresh and pieces were big and delicious. I would definitely come back. The sake was also really nice.

Welcoming and gluten-free friendly. The place gets full soon, so I would recommend making a reservation or coming soon and expect having to wait. We waited for 1h, but it was worth it. Staff speaks English, and helped me choose the gluten-free options on the menu. They also had gluten free soy sauce. They recommended a sake that paired great with the amazing sushi and sashimi we had.

Whoa. Best dining experience of our trip in Japan. The sushi was incredible. Service and family-owned vibes were top notch. Highly highly recommend.
