Such a fun experience. The mochi is warm and absolutely delicious, the powder has nuts. The texture is perfect and they are cheap and the staff is kind! Definitely worth to stop by if you’re in Nara. It was very exciting to witness the show. We walked by and the preparation show started. Lots of cute shops around and it’s on the way to the temple!

Yummy mochi and affordable. Bought 2. 1 eat on the same day it's warm, the red bean not too sweet and it's very chewy. The other eat on the next day and the taste and texture is still there. Worth trying when you are around Nara.

This place is not just a trend, their mochi was actually delicious! Jusy a short walk from the station. Coincidentally we showed up right when they were filming their signature mochi hammering. We got the mochi filled with red bean and the mochi was perfect. We also tried some rice crackers which were also good but nothing special. Highly recommend getting their mochi as this place is definitely worth the visit.
