More Comments at Google MapThe curry was absolutely amazing. It came with three different kinds of curry on the same plate. Each of them resembles a different ingredient. The curry was not too spicy but very authentic (in an Indian-influenced Japanese way). The shop was kind of difficult to locate. The parking lot of the shop was also not directly next to the shop (but around 50 meters away from the shop).
I thought I was on a long journey in search of delicious-looking curry, but I found it in my hometown. And it's only a 5 minute walk from work! From the photos everyone has uploaded, it looks like it's the real deal✨ The store has a calm atmosphere, like a renovated old folk house. There's a manga on the stairs leading up to the second floor (you can't go up to the second floor), so you can read it, right? The day I visited was Saturday at 13:30, and unfortunately, the soft-boiled eggs were sold out...I'll try it next time! The main menu is not 3 types, but only one plate with 3 types of curry. The bean curry has a strong lentil flavor and a gentle taste. It's like lentil potage. The shrimp and coconut curry had a strong shrimp flavor and went well with the coconut. The spicy pork curry started to tingle about 3 seconds after I put it into my mouth, but the side dish and bean curry calmed it down. I was asked to reduce the amount of rice even more than the normal size. was delicious~ Once I was full, I wanted to enjoy the calm atmosphere a little more, so I ordered a lassi. Apparently you can also take out, so I'd like to eat there again.
I found a great spice curry shop in Nara. If you enter a narrow alley, you will find yourself in an old private house-style renovated shop, where you can feel right at home. There is a shop that serves medicinal lunches and a sweets shop next door, and the sense of unity in the surrounding area is quite good. The curry is light, but the soup stock is effective and has a spicy feel, so I felt that it was a curry that would be liked by young people + α generations like me. (The nearby Kohakuso was also delicious, but I think it's a spice curry that young people really like.) I have a good impression that the women are very soft and like people in Nara, whether they are a couple. There is only one thing that I would like to improve. It seems that it is closed irregularly, so I was finally able to eat it on my third visit. It is essential for restaurants to clearly state their business hours. You could end up ruining your potential. I would like you to consider only attractive shops.
