Gojo, Nara, Japan｜Uetsuji Tofu Shop

I stopped by on my way back from Tenkawa Village. The tofu was very large and firm and had a firm texture. I used a quarter of it for cold tofu, which has a strong flavor, and the rest for bitter gourd champuru. I think it goes great with stir-fries. Yamato-age and Yuu Atsuage were also delicious. There is no parking lot.

If you like mapo tofu 💦 I also bought some Yamatoage. I toasted it a little in the oven (toaster) and sprinkled it with soy sauce. This was also delicious. It was crispy. It's in an inconspicuous place so don't miss the sign. There is no parking lot, so let's devise a place to park and go shopping. Tofu is really delicious and impressive. Vegetables are also sold next to it, and the tomatoes here were also excellent.
