Kyoto, Japan｜炭火焼 酒房すいしん

Came here for dinner and ordered a variety of food and drinks. Location is excellent, but it's located at 2nd floor so you will need to take the elevator. Compared to other boutique or smaller izakaya in the area, there are seats available and it's good with walk in customers. The deep sea fish, yakitori, salmon sashimi were great. Service was impeccable and they offered us a choice of 4 seater (for 2 pax) or counter (with window view). Will come back again in the future.

Delicious and very friendly staff. Owner (or manager) even tried to help with my chopstick technique and pronunciation of some Japanese. Will definitely go back if I get the opportunity. PS - I had moved the greens with the serving spoon before thinking to take a picture. They didn't serve it like that!

Excellent service, vegetarian options, very comfortable ambience, child seats, great taste. A highlight in Kyoto restaurants.
