Kyoto, Japan｜炭火焼 木石

OSHIIII, we had an amazing diner and time at Kiseki 炭火焼 木石（スミビヤキ キセキ) we found this izakaya near our hotel (Resol Trinity). We had great food & sake here! The owner Daiki loves J-Pop music so that was playing and when we were the last couple at the izakaya, we drank sake together with Daiki. He was so nice and we ended up singing at his neighbours karaokebar (lady owner Tomoko) and sang Japanese, jpop and English songs together with Daiki, Tomoko, Tomozo and a very friendly German visitor who happened to walk in this street. We love Japan/Kyoto and this was a very cosy, amazing night! Arigato gozaimasu, see you next time! Remy & Shanon (Holland)

The food, the location, the service - everything was really good and we had a wonderful evening with delicious food!

Nice Japanese Kyushu BBQ place where you can grill fish, veg, and meat by yourself at table. They also have extensive non BBQ menu. Good selection of shochu which we really like as well as tasty foods. We paid around ¥20,000 for four which we think is reasonable considering how much we enjoyed our dinner. Be warned that there are raw horse meats on menu (Kyushu cuisine).
