Kyoto, Japan｜Spice Curry MUJARA

A quirky restaurant with a slight twist on traditional Indian food. The owner and the restaurant had such a fun and inviting personality. I had a curry platter which included a chicken, pork, and daal curry in addition to a small cup of korma and raita with pickled vegetables. Every item was absolutely fantastic and I would definitely go out of my way to visit this restaurant every time I'm in Kyoto. I would highly recommend ordering a chai to complete your meal!

Best Indian curry I've had in a very long time. The chicken was perfectly cooked and I loved the korma. The inside of the store has such a great vibe! Highly recommend to anyone in Kyoto.

Some of the best curry I've experienced. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Would recommend and will likely dream about the food once I return to the US.
