Kyoto, Japan｜Dashi-Chazuke En - Kyoto Porta

This is the first time I'm having Japanese chazuke and I love it very much! I ordered the shrimp and scallop and it was so tasty! Ordering was done using the ticket machine and it was easy for tourist like me. Will definitely come back when I visit kyoto again next time!

We had the Sea Beam bowl set. It was very delicious with the Dashi broth. The meal left us full while not feeling stuffed. Fast service.

Do yourself a favour and check this place out! Japanese comfort food with a slight twist from what I understand (dashi rather than just tea). Portion size for regular was enough for me, and if you want to try 2 types there's the option for half and half. Absolutely recommend the sea bream. Tablet order has English and a few other languages. Staff super pleasant and the food comes out quickly. Tofu with sesame dressing nice way to round out the meal.
