Stumbeled upon this place while looking for lunch at Kyoto station. A bit of a wait but well worth it! High turnover so it's not really one for a nice "atmosphere"as it's pretty much eat and go but reasonable for what it is. I went for the one with various types of sashimi. Dashi broth made it the perfect comfort food.

Found this on Instagram! Super good Ochazuke(tea over rice). Their dishes are made with Dashi broth rather than Green tea which I greatly enjoyed. It’s on the West Gate side of the station so if you get off on the East side it might take a bit to navigate. I would recommend to come here after you get off the train or if you plan on coming here before your train, plan in advance as there might be a short line as well.

Dropped by here because we were rushing for our next destination via bullet trains! This is my first time trying dashi chazuke here and the experience is great! This place requires you to queue for a short time before your turn comes. Foreigners, dont worry because there will be instructions on how to eat on your table as well!
