Amazing little restaurant... Would love to come back someday. Tried chazuke (tea on rice) for the first time, and it was wonderful!! They also serve horse meat for those feeling adventurous (I was). It was very good too. Be prepared to communicate in Japanese, as there is little to no English spoken. But the visit is well worth it, and the owners are very cheerful and friendly. Wonderful people and wonderful restaurant!

I was looking for a place with chazuke, and this place was perfect!! It's a small restaurant that seems to be run by mother and daughter, and it specializes in chazuke. The menu has a large selection of chazuke to choose from. There's also a few other items on the menu like horsemeat sashimi, which was delicious!! I totally recommend the kelp, salmon, and eel chazukie!!

Ochazuke from Kumamoto is now available in Kyoto. Easy to eat in one bite. For the first time in a long time, I made Ochazuke, Doroya-san, and the standard salmon roe and mentaiko. I ate it lightly! It was delicious. The address was Ankimotona no Hana, her mother is a good cook, and there was oden too!! ️ Five items of oden are thread con, radish is pretty big, stain stain, egg is pretty red yolk, it's delicious, it's like an assortment of yuba, it's delicious again, Nerimono contains red ginger, it's pretty delicious, Oden is a recommended menu! ️
