Kyoto, Japan｜Pontakosakura

Came here on a Wednesday evening and it was mostly empty. We were seated at the counter seats, which was nice. Takoyaki was delicious, especially the double cheese, dashi octopus, and the special sauce ones!). Also recommend the sweet potato and ice cream dessert! The gin and tonic was great too. Though there is a cover charge of ¥600 per person, it’s worth it. Good food, good ambience, good service!

Must-visit when you are in Kyoto! We tried Takoyaki & Okonomiaki and both were delicious! The atmosphere is very charming and authentic and the service is simply excellent.

I've never eaten such a wonderful takoyaki, make sure you try all the different flavours in the menu (we did the double cheese and the dashi octopus). They also created a mixed sushi takoyaki, worth a try! lovely atmosphere, music and everyone was really friendly. (be aware, no English menu!)
