Kyoto, Japan｜Kotoshi

Wow! We just happened to find this place while looking for a nice meal on our last night in Japan. We peered inside just to see what the situation was inside and were immediately invited in by the staff to sit on the patio overlooking the Kamo River. The food was delicious and was an experience just to eat! When we come back to Japan we will definitely be returning here!

I can’t speak for dinner but I enjoyed a very reasonable set lunch here for just over 1000¥. Multi course meal. It was very good value if you compare it to other restaurants in the same area.

First of all, it's a very nice place. The owner and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Food is very delicious. We came at 5 and for 30 minutes or so were the only customers but by 6 it was already crowded. Strongly recommend to visit.
