Beautiful scenery and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing. The buffet has a nice wide selection, so you won't get bored quickly and it is tasty too. Even the gift shops have something for everyone too. Fairly priced and worth a visit. You will need a car to get there though.

I visited again on Saturday and had a lunch buffet. All the dishes made with Wakasa's seafood and fresh vegetables from around the area are so delicious that you can't help but eat way too much. The price is 2100 yen for adults. I went on a Tuesday, so it was closed. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and third Thursdays, and the souvenir shop is only open on Saturdays and Sundays.
