This is an amazing izakaya! The food is outstanding. You should be prepared to speak Japanese, but even a little effort should get you through. They offer an English language menu. Even though I fumbled through and didn’t speak Japanese as well as I should have after a long day of sightseeing, the staff were exceptionally helpful and served me perfectly. Again, the food is worth the visit. Extremely well prepared. The kitchen runs like a finely tuned machine. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Wow this place was incredible. Staff super friendly and helpful, sashimi was so fresh. Really tasty beer on draft. Recommend 10/10!!!!

This is my second time having Whale meat. It tasted good this time as tempura. The sashimi was fresh and loved the odens.
