The tonkatsu was amazing! Don't let the fact that it's on the top floor in a warehouse stop you from going here. To add to this, the waiter was one of the kindest employees I've ever seen and the waitress did her absolute best to help us, despite our very limited Japanese. And all that while being quite affordable. If you're in Kyoto and in the mood for some tonkatu, this is a place I'd certainly recommend.

We had gyukatsus and they were delicious! Really soft and tender. Know that the rice and cabbage salad are refill (; Also, the staff is very friendly and patient with the language barrier

Tonkatsu by the book, served with two types of tea and pickled vegetables, that were fantastic. Highly recommended.
