This is my first time in Kyoto and I wanted to try Obanzai (traditional Japanese cuisine native to Kyoto). I went there early. So, I could sit outdoor and enjoyed very simple but delicious food and amazing scenery. Some people may think price is a bit high, but that Obanzai dish and the atmosphere are really worth it.

Went directly for dinner. The outdoor tables were still available, but it was a little cold outside after dark. They only have set meals available, and the difference between the two set meals is whether there is tempura or not. Although the quantity is not very large, the taste is still good. What’s a bit surprising is that their grape juice contains alcohol. If you can’t drink alcohol, it’s best to tell them before ordering.
