Bamboo shoots grown in the wilderness make you want to eat them when spring comes. This restaurant has a historical atmosphere and is located in this area where you can see beautiful bamboo forests. I made a reservation for Hanare no Ma again this year. The main building is more beautiful, but the separate part, which was visited by literary figures and artists, is quieter and more relaxing. The course, named Chikunari, has an elegant taste typical of Kyoto, and although it is full of bamboo shoots, you will never get tired of it. In particular, I was able to taste the freshness of the bamboo shoots dug in the morning, filling my mouth with Kagami-ni.
