Kyoto, Japan｜Kadoya

I visited on July 9th. This is a purely local restaurant, not a famous tourist destination in Kyoto. The owner is really friendly and the food is delicious. The service was great, especially the kimchi provided, which was special and became a good memory. I happened to stop by this store while traveling, and I had a fantastic experience thanks to the really delicious okonomiyaki and yakisoba, and the beer that went well with the food. This is a truly local restaurant for Koreans.

I visited him for the first time in about 10 years. It was still delicious and reminded me of when I was younger. My wife and I were newlyweds at the time, and now my son, who is in college and high school, joined us, and the four of us ate four dishes, including a large bowl of ``Japanese beef tendon with stewed green onions,'' pork mod, and squid yakisoba, and we were full. . The bill is also a good deal at around 4,500 yen, so I would like to come here often. The beef tendon with green onions is well-seasoned, tender and delicious. At my house, we eat it with dashi, but when it's grilled crispy on a griddle, it tastes like tempura, which I like. It's a local, privately run okonomiyaki restaurant, but this was my first visit in over 10 years, and even though the owner has changed (probably his son), I was able to get a glimpse of the seriousness of their work.

You can choose how you like your okonomiyaki grilled. There are bettayaki and nerikomi. They are Hiroshima style and Osaka style. Yakisoba is also delicious.
