I really love this place. It’s a very simple and unpretentious izakaya on the otherwise expensive and exclusive pontocho dori. The mama is quite friendly and always remembers my drink order and has it ready when I walk in the door. The food is simple, but prepared well. The service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming. The decor is painted bright yellow and customers are able to write graffiti on the walls. It has a lot of charm and is filled with local characters and foreigners alike.

Best and dearest barkeeper! Always a pleasure to drink there. Many international guests but also local.highly recommended 10/10. Very good prices!

Spent a glorious evening in this cracking bar last year and had to come back - delicious craft beer, tasty bar food that has no need to be so delicious and wonderful atmosphere that I wish I could find in Hong Kong!
