The best food we have had in Japan! The chef (I think owner) is super kind, patient and great host!! We are foreigners and don’t speak Japanese and he was very friendly. The food was delicious, I totally recommend it!

This was the best food I had in Japan and the owner/waiter was very friendly and helpful (even though we didn’t speak any Japanese). Definitely worth a visit in Kyoto!

Great speakeasy restaurant and bar! If you are looking for a casual izakaya with authentic japanese food this is a great option!
