We were very lucky to walk in without a reservation - dinner was one of the best. Sashimi was so fresh, everything was cooked to perfection! Claypot rice with sea bream was worth the wait, pure and delicious. Kyoto roast duck served cold with mustard was great too. We’ll be back!

Lucky enough to stroll in for dinner without a reservation. We were seated at the counter and had one of the best meals of our lives. The tomato with dashi jelly is one of the best things you’ll ever eat if you’re ever lucky enough to do so. Sashimi is better than most you’ll ever have and their miso fish is buttery, umami perfection. Great izakaya, fantastic staff and an incredible dining experience.

The highlight of the meal we ordered was definitely the duck. It was cold and served with mustard. Another great dish that I recommend is the tomato jelly dish, and the chicken wings. Unlike some of the dishes we ordered, the chicken wings were warm and sweet. The tomatoes in the tomato dish was so sweet and juicy, when you bite it, juice squirts out of the tomato. This place is amazing for trying new foods and eating what you like, and I definitely want to recommend this place.
